What's the best way to find people that can be paid $8-$10/hr or just a flat-rate for the job to do things like ...

* Networking (e-mailing people for partnerships, link trades, deals, connections, etc.)
* Adding content through a CMS (not creating the content)
* Doing general research, distilling it, and paraphrasing it

I'd think it'd be best to run small tests by the person and then offer incentives if their job requires a response from another individual, i.e., networking.

Any good ideas?

Flyers and Posters on College Campuses

1) Huge ammount of students looking for beer money

2) All computer literate

3) All have computer and internet access (if you want them to work remotely)

4) Willing to work for almost nothing

5) Experienced with research and paraphrasing (similar to plagarizing :) )

6) Eager

The only things you want to consider is that college students can be flacky so dont expect any long term loyalty. They want to get in, do the job, and get out as soon as possible. Letting them work remotely is excellent because most college students might not have a 6 hour block of time to work, but they definitely have 6 free hours scattered throughout the day.

Actually, some high schools students are less "flakey" in this respect. But yes, students are your absolute BEST RESOURCE for this sort of thing.

Followed closely by an underutilized group: retired folks like me (we're around - check with some senior orgs in your area). You might have to interview more closely to find people with the sort of machine and net savvy you need, but once you find them, they're inherently more stable than students....

I agree - students and retired people - capable people who need money with time on their hands.

(Oversimplified, but you get the idea)
