Hi
I run a website where registered users receive a newsletter. There are about 1,200 registered at the moment.

The email addresses are stored on the server in a MySQL database. Until recently I was running a PHP script on my PC which connected to the database and mailed from my PC using a local IIS SMTP sever.
Anyway for one reason or another I can't seem to get this to work anymore so was wondering if anyone new of any software or alternative way to send out the newsletter?
Thanks in advance

I'm using a free program called Dadamail, and it works like a charm with my 25,000 subscriber list that I send every weekday. I would suggest that you search for Internet service providers who offer an installation of the program as part of their package - they'll be much more comfortable with the program running on their servers.

I have been using Prospect Mailer. Seems to work well.

oops!

I just noticed that their web site has shut down. Also there are no downloads available anymore on any of the download sites. They must have gone out of business.
