2 Scripts, same contents

My site has 2 similar scripts, both generate same content. We made 2 scripts because the first script is more of a "universal" script that can access everything on the site, and the 2nd script is tailormade for that particular category so we can have high flexibility on customization for that category.

Will this trigger duplicate content problem?

So you end up with two identical pages with two different URL's, both indexable?

I can't be 100% sure in respect of all the SE's, but for the majority of them, the original page will rank and the duplicate won't.

The distinction between the original and the duplicate is most probably made based on age.
