Hi,

Could someone tell me if he is also having problem to validate document (upload mode). Since today, it is telling me that he is unable to check the document because the content/type is wrong. Though, the document I am uploading is a transitional .html (<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC '-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN'>).

Also, before I was used to upload text (.txt) doc, it is givng me the same error msg.

I am back on this topic because I tried again yesterday and it just refuse to take my document.

It is telling me that the document is not a valid HTML (read as TXT) and that is even when uploading a HTML page.

Before I was able to submit TXT document and no it seems it is not possible. Do not understand?

Could someone try to upload a document in the W3C compliant Upload form (the one with the browse button) page.

Thanks

Done some search on G and found the solution which is in fact in Webmasterworld.
[webmasterworld.com...]

The problem - There is a bug in Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2 (last Windows update) -> MIME content for html files is text/plain. Went to Microsoft website, no patch given. Arrggh. Went to W3C forum and it seems they are quite unhappy by the tons of message they receive telling them that there is a BUG in there validator.

The solution - Just use an other browser (other than IE6.0 SP2). That's it folks (and get the SP1 and not the SP2)
