I'm hosting an HTTPS site which requires me to call in content from another site which is also HTTPS...how can I do this? I know that HTTP can't frame HTTPS content from another site, but can HTTPS frame HTTPS content from another site? If so, how...or is there another solution?

Help! If you can...

Welcome to webmaster world grad!

I guess I don't quite understand your question. I have http sites loading https frames on my servers with no problems. And I don't see how loading 2 https sites into frames would be any different. What happens when you try to do this? Are you getting an error message telling you you are leaving the site?

Thanks for welcome note Webdude...I don't know why I didn't register here a long time ago. Anyhow, I haven't actually built the frame on my site yet...but I read something on framing content from a 3rd party into a site and it said you can't frame an https page into an http html page...

Should I just build it and see what happens? I just don't want to spend the time if it won't work.

Let me know your thoughts, and thanks again for the response.

Sorry, I should have read your post a little more closely.

It would be very easy to build and test this. Probably only take a few minutes. The sites I was referring to are sites that I host and develop, so I cannot answer specifically on what will happen. I would build it and check it out.

by the way, I am sure you have permission to link to this third party site. It would be a big no no if you did not.
