My site:

100 Articles
PR 5
50 Backlinks

Google Ranking for keyword: 336th

A Page on [ehow.com...] :

ONE 360 WORD page
PR 4
2 Backlinks

Google Ranking for keyword: 57th

I guess it is time for a major SEO rebuilding lol!

LuckyStrike - that's to the homepage, not the page that Livenomadic is looking at.

The domain is authoritative Livenomadic.

What is authority? Scale, age and reinforcement of pages by surrounding pages - coupled with plenty of deep-links from other reputable sources.

The only way to tell if your seo is working well enough or not is by your own traffic and conversions. I would not worry about ehow. I doubt they are proud to be the 57th result. I would worry about the top ten sites and what it will take to become one of them.

Just counting backlinks is meaningless especially since the link command has been next to useless for a good while. What about anchor text?
