... other than gossamer threads, infacta and listmailpro.

Service must support full tracking and allow full customization including changing the e-mail letterheads, tracking of e-mails, mass-mailing..etc possibly even a good open-source sofware would do well. My first preference would be for open-source, second for products that only charge one flat fee, and third for those that charge a monthly fee/per thousand fee. My e-mail list is currently only in the 1000/2000 head but this is likely to quadruple in the next 6 months or so...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Andy

Sendmail (a Perl program) is free and you can customise it to your hearts content.

You might also want to get rid of those links in your post IMO...

Based on my experience with them Gossamer Threads is a good company. But again then I have also dealt with Infacta for GroupMail and they were very friendly too.

Now even though it is a pretty tough choice, I would suggest you might still want to look at Send Studio it is one of the best (if not the best) newsletter tool that I have found.

I don't think you can go wrong by choosing any of Send Studio, Gossamer Threads' script or Group Mail. But if you are wanting tracking feature and other stuff, than you are better off with Send Studio.

However if you are interested in opensouce script, than check out PHPlist. I think PHPlist can also do the trick for you.

hope this helps.

I use Dada Mail and think it's pretty good. Free, and open source.
