Shopping Cart Plugin

A lot of Affiliates seem to like co-branding. Is it possible to create a shopping cart plug-in that they could insert into their pages that would allow them to take orders from their webpage, yet all our code and data is fetched and stored on our server/database?

Without compromising our security.

If so... are there any know drawbacks?

I have not seen anything that does what you are descibing. I've contemplated writing custom code to facilitate the sharing of info with the affiliates that I sell for, but haven't found an affiliate yet who wants to give up their customer database.

It would be great if I could capture buyer info. Currently about all I am doing to capture buyer info is offer a free newsletter.

This is an area I could use help in too.
