Bought a domain yesterday has received around 20 visitors from all over the world, Cypress, France (spits on floor) and the USA. The domain isnt an intuitive type in first part is a common word the second is slang, its a dot com with no hyphens.

Apart from type ins which Id find very odd indeed due to the name, what could it be? Ive checked the way back machine but nothing has been listed at this address ever.

Im at a loss.

How many of the requests are bots probing for vulnerable versions of formmail, etc? Many just trawl through the IP space looking for anything that responds to port 80.

[laughing my behind off...] Let's be nice!

I would get a new logger/tracker. A good one will tell you everything.

Wayback Machine can be blocked from tracking a site, so I wouldn't assume nothing's been at that domain "ever" just because Wayback's reporting 0 results.

Also, other sites may be linking to the domain, unaware that the original site they linked to is gone. With so few hits, it might just be one site or buried in someone's link directory.
