Are these ranked/looked upon poorly by Se's?

just wondering about this I can see no reason why but just dont know.

I have a range of antique widgets to sell 24 in total so its not worth building a full site, a one pager would do well.

But would Google et al look down upon this?

I would say it depends on how competitive your primary keyword phrase is. If your target has 5 millions results or more, then I would break out each of the 24 products to have their own unique content page behind your homepage. That way you have more pages to provide custom SEO on.

If you're selling the same widget in 24 colors, you may have too much duplicate content to help you. In that case, do your single page with lots of diversity in your content so people can find you in a variety of different searches.

If you do feel you have to go with a single page, you might also consider some internal pages related to what you sell to help boost your rankings, such as a 'widget care guide,' 'widget comparison guide,' 'history of widgets,' etc. This will provide a little more spider food for the search engines.

i have several one page sites that rank for non-competitive terms, possibly even in the same sector that you are in, so i don't think it is a problem.

i think the advantage of more pages is the extra anchor text you get.
