Is it just me or has anyone else's daily spam intake been reduced to trickle since the SP2 update the day before?

Is it possible that this service pack has eliminated all the zombie computers sending me 75 spams a day? Or maybe i'm just a statistical anomaly..

SP2 forces Outlook Express to NOT download images by default. This was by far the most annoying issue with spam emails that I had - now I can easily delete the whole lot without any delays associated with images being loaded.

Most people have not yet installed it because it was not on automatic updates. Time will tell how spam levels are affected but I dont hold my breath.

I'm on Outlook from Office 2000.. It's just really strange, every single day for it must be at least 2 years, i've been getting around 40 - 100 bs messages. Then.. finally the SP installs itself yesterday. And, almost nothing...

Could MS finally have done something right?
