Row spacing: table rows or spacer gif better?

No, I haven't learned CSS spacing yet.

I haven't ever used spacer gifs... ok, and I've only been at this for a year. I'd say row spacing since I just did that. Wouldn't it be easier to work on the page without having to reference an image?
