Is it worth shelling out the money to be considered for Cool Site of the Day? Have any of you done it? If yes, did you notice a dramatic increase in web traffic?

I last did a couple of these around 1998. They were free then. Today, I know that these are a great way to build your own PR and get traffic, even get paid. No, I got zero traffic that I can recall.
I suggest you should set up your own Cooler/Coolest Site site and join the fun. ;)
