? re. blocked sites

cannot acces sites on my laptop, but can on my desktop

Hi I am new here, so not sure where to post my question.
I have a new laptop and cannot access certain sites, that are no problem to access with my old desktop. i am using IE and Opra. both have the same problem. Opra tell me: "this object has been blocked" and IE:"http-mistake 403 not permitted"
Can anyone tell me what I can do to change this? thanks,

It really sounds like the laptop is using a firewall and has it blocked.

Do you have Widnows SP2 installed, that might be it. How about Zone Alarm or Black Ice?

Yes, I do have Zone Alarm Pro, what do I need to change? I do have a firewall on my other computer too and it does not give me the same problems...
