We have businesses all over europe sometimes we are selling our stuff and sometimes we are an agent. In Poland they just decided that the VAT will be 22% opposed to the former 7%. Makes us really uncompetitive and everyone else as well I guess. Anyone go offshore to avoid this. If so is it it working?

No. The recent changes in EU VAT catch all.

I'm based in Guernsey, Channel Islands, UK. and because of Guernsey's relationship with the EU outlined in Protocol 4 if a service or product is supplied from within the Island and is below 25 Euros in value it is considered below the VAT threshold. Therefore VAT free :-)

Sticky me if you require more information.
