Do you suggest any?

I am doing a SEO work for a client, but their server doesn't offer any control panel web stats. Just the log file.
And I don't want to be downloading log files all the time and running stats program in my computer.

It's a pretty small site, if like only 15 pages.
What free online service could you suggest that will track traffic, but also bots views, search engine keywords, etc...?

Thanks a lot for helping.

I don't mind if I have to put a small logo or button on the bottom of the page.

Thanks

there's one called eXtreme tracking that I used to use a long time ago on a free page. They have pretty good stats for a free program. the free one only covers one page though.

You can also do a search for "remotely hosted" tracking services.

If you are doing the SEO for free I would ask to place a logo and a link to your own site. This will give you the basic traffic level. If you are being paid for the SEO I would reccomend to pay for a good tracking solution like Webtrends, Hitbox etc.

Extreme Tracking covers an entire site, but you can't distinguish between access to pages. However, if you're looking for something basic and free, it's a pretty good solution. I've used it for simple stats and I can recommend it. There is also a paid version, but I've never met anyone who's used it. On the othe hand, somebody must use it, otherwise Extreme would have gone bankrupt years ago :)

The downside of Extreme is that everyone can see your stats.
