My server is down - no access to domain, email, or stats server. The host hasn't got it figured out yet (located in Seattle). I know this happens from time to time. Is there a way that I can set up a domain at another host with the same content, and have a user directed to the second host/domain if the first host/domain is down?

The problem arises in that the first server would have to redirect to the second and if the first server is down...

you could set up a third server with a script to ping the other servers and choose one but if that server went down...

I'm not by any means a server expert but generally the reduncy has to be built into the original system (I believe)
