I googled a rare asked question I had about widgets: "How to fix widgets without a screwdriver"...
The google results were pretty pathetic... 90% were complete crap (unrelated pages) it is remaining 10% that interest me... this is probably because it is pretty unsearched phrase.
The remaining 10% were questions posted on random and obviously unused forums (we have all seen those dead forums without a post in 3 years). Most of the sites havent been updated in years either... basically junk sites with low PR.
They were all semi related to my topic of widgets...
I realized that this could be a awesome way to get some extra promotion for my site.
Here is my plan:
1. Make a page specifically answering the questions, just a simple 300 word article with lots of links to other parts of my site.
2. Post on the forums sayings "Widgets.com has acutally has an article about this... you can get to it here"
3. Get some more (low PR) links and some traffic... maybe even find a new niche
It is not a awesome new method or anything, but my old math teacher said if 1 person asks a questions then there are atleast 10 people in that class that were too afraid or bored to ask.
Any thoughts?
