Thanks for Informing me about PR and Links relation.

Does anyone here agree that one way Link exchanging is better than reciprocal linking?

Because as per my observation , You can gain traffic by one way link exchanging on to your site and need not provide traffic to others.

Whereas its give and take in reciprocal linking.

However One way link exchanging isn't realiable because our link can be removed any time due to many unavoidable reasons.

Anyone who would like to share points on this topic is Welcome.

One way Linking is better than reciprocal linking because of abuse, search engines such as Google have said not to trade links to get a better ranking. Yes, they can take your link down in one way Linking, but they can do the same thing with reciprocal linking.

Historically...one way linking is the "natural organic link process" that occurs as a web site develops a reputation and other resources begin to point in because they find this web site to be valuable to their users...and if this web site is working to create interest for its user base it will find sites that it can point to and add value to its user experience...

This is effectively what Google has been saying all along...and why the "sandbox" effect is occuring...if a brand new site goes live with 100 inbounds...this simply is not realistic in Google's eyes....they believe..and have adjusted their algo to back it up...that organic "serial" (one link from a site is carried through that site to the next logical destination) linking is far less prone to abuse than "reciprocal linking" which is way to easy to abuse...

Reciprocal linking will not die easy, however, as there are so many tools and service providers who created businesses around this process...Google will just be more savvy at catching abuse and disounting the affect...though I have come across some egregious examples of abuse as recent as ... just a few moments ago...
!sigh!
