When somebody uses Outlook Express and reinstalls windows (+formating the drive) and wants to keep his messages in Outlook what shall he do?

For example if I have a folder "LILI"(in this folder are the e-mails that I want to save)outlook express makes a file LILI.dbx and places the the e-mails in this file. I can open the file with even notebook but it's too ugly. How Can I Import the e-mails when I reinstall my windows.

Or a better option will be to export the e-mails into separate *.txt files or something like that.

Thanks in advance.

Just copy the entire folder containing the OE .dbx files to a CD, then when you're back in business with your machine, copy the file back to a temp folder on your drive, then tell OE to import from that folder.

Oh 10x man. I tried to import them but I chose Outlook 4 and it was making an error. I forgot to try with outlook 5. Thank you once again because you helped me a lot.
