Is it possible to take a powerpoint presentation and add it into a website. I did a presentation for a client and he wants to be able to access it through his website. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,
Jeremy

IIRC, Powerpoint has a save to html option.

Simply place the PP presentation on your server, then include a link to it like yoursite.com/yourppfile.ppt

I believe that will work.

then include a link to it like yoursite.com/yourppfile.ppt

So long as the client's users are likely to be able open it. Outside an office environment how many will be able to open it?

Another option you probably want to consider is to include the free MS powerpoint viewer. That way users without powerpoint have the option of viewing your presentation.

I usually give the users the option of downloading 2 zip files. One with the ppt presentation and one with the presentation and ppt viewer.

How do you get the free Power Point viewer? I am assuming the viewer must click on link to download this viewer. Or is the the free viewer have to be done on my end? Please let me know how this works...im stuck right now cuz even when i save my ppt file and place on server...it seems to be messed up (its not smooth at all)

Thanks for your time

Or convert it to a pdf via adobe. They offer a couple free file conversions.

Use save to HTML. Very sweet.

It's OK, but like all the MS office software if you save it as HTML you will have to strip out the XML and style tags put there so the file can be transferred back to it's original format. View the source it'll make you dizzy!

If you only have to do a few conversions, I would think about tranferring them into your own HTML show. Then you can get a consistent look and feel with your site and you won't have those awkward ugly buttons and slow download times.
