How do i find my serial number on my comuter?

How do i find my serial number on my comuter? Im trying to send in rebates and cant find my sn....my computer is a sony vaio.

I've always found the serial number on the back of the computer.

You could go to start, help and support and try to find it there, if you have Win XP.

I have looked both places suggested and still cant find it. I do have XP. It is very weird that I cant find it.....

The serial number is on a bar code sticker located on the back of the computer. The bar code sticker consists of two sets of numbers. The second set of numbers is the serial number.

NOTE: The VAIOŽ Support Agent can also be used to determine the serial number.
