Hi all,

Being a color blind UI designer/developer is a headache, we have employed another person to be my eyes when it comes to getting the right look and feel of our sites and UI's colors.

Is there any web site out there that can bring back a matching set of colors to a certain color i pick?
I.e. If i was to pick #669966 as my main color the results returned would be colors that match and fit in well with that color.

Many thanks and kind regards,

-George

I don't know if it counts as an authority site (please delete this post if it doesn't!), but I always liked [easyrgb.com...]

I also like the SLUGS plugin for HTMLKit, so depending on what editor you use you might be able to find something similar. Having something built in is always pretty convenient.

Hmm I am going to have to get into these editors it seems to be unavoidable nowadays to design without them.

This is the best I've seen; I've used it extensively.

Color Schemer [colorschemer.com]

Accepts both RGB and hex.

I always find [color.twysted.net...] to be useful. Nice sliders to take the guessing away a little. Does away with web-safe colours, but they look nice!
