Forum Running Adsense

Which Forum S/W Will Allow Running of Adsense?

I have three related websites which could drive traffic to a forum. Before adding a forum, I'd like to know if there's an off-the-shelf forum s/w program which will allow me to run Adsense ads on it.

Someone suggested that I look at phpbb. Does anyone know if it will allow me to run Adsense ads?

Yes, it is quite simple for phpbb. You will add the Adsense Javascript to either overall_header.tpl or overall_footer.tpl in the templates directory.

But I think it is simple for all forums. You just have to know where to add the code.

Don't go for Ikonboard, if you want to have adsense on it... I made this mistake, but now I'm kinda stuck with it.

Main thing is that the forum doesn't have session ID's, because google wont crawl boards with these, and you'll have completely rubbish ad's that have nothing to do with the topic, because the adsense robot needs to be able to crawl the page.

Which s/w doesn't require session IDs then?

I have lots of phpbb forums running adsense wonderfully.
