Yep. Saturday is always our slowest day, but lately it's been even more so. Summer has come to the northern hemisphere.

Yep people have lots to do when the winter finally breaks and summer starts. Like Bar-B-Q :) My traffic's been down a bit the last few saturdays, but not much. Guess my folks aren't as fond of the outdoors as others, or they bring their laptops outside...

Here on mainland Europe the Internet is shut down on the last weekend in May for spring cleaning. Users in the rest of the world can help by taking out their ethernet or modem cables and blowing into them or knocking them on any hard surface to dislodge any bits which might have become stuck.

;-).

For me Saturday is definitely the slowest day, by a large margin, year round. Things start to pick up on Sunday, Monday is usually my best day, Friday often my second best.

My site is outdoors related, I assume that many people take one last look at the site (from work :) ) on Friday, are outdoors on Saturday, start returning to civilization on Sunday, and on Monday they use their employer's broadband to catch up.

Yes, client sites all lower conversions, but for some reason (probably because they are info pages, not sales), my AdSense pages always get more clicks on US holidays and long weekends.

In Canada, we're still in school. I suppose that America and the UK get out 4/5 weeks earlier than us.

Maybe it's even just BC where we still have school.

Saturdays have always been the worst day. Totally consistent for the last 5 years.

I used to whine like crazy about Saturdays, now I just live with it. You can't stop people going to the bricks and mortar on Saturday, well not until the day the bricks and mortar no longer exist anyways!

Saturday is nearly always the quietest day for visitors to our site. The pattern rarely changes. Busiest days are mid week, especially Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday, people get as much work done as possible so they can surf the web the rest of the week. Thursdays people realise they have spent too much time surfing and still have work to do. Fridays are often half days or long weekends so we get less visitors as people are not at work or are rushing to finish off work before the weekend.

All in all, it's so clear that businesses must be losing a fortune from their workers goofing off and playing on the computer half the week.
