Hi Everyone,

I have an Invision Forum Board and I'm wondering if its possible I can make it only for members. I know I can put the .htaccess password there but its not really protecting the site addy to show up and anyone to just go in there.. Is there any way to make the board only open up and be accessible to my paid members? If not, any good forum out there in which it will?

Second question is pretty similar. I have a journal or blog or whatever you may call it through Bravenet. Again, a free service but I only wanted my members to see the daily diary being written. At this point, I'm not sure how i would make that only a member page if the url path is a bravediary address.

So if I can't privatize both above for my paid members only, is there any suggestions to finding a journal or good looking blogging and Forum or Dating Script for the members of my site?

Thanks in advance for your support.

P.S. Anyone know where I can go to find scripts for dating sites or anything like that?

Ok take care everyone and thanks again,

Laura

Not sure if I posted this message on the wrong forum.

Maybe someone could tell me its not possible or maybe that they don't know so I can look into something else.

If I am on the wrong board, then my apologies.

Hello Domino

we mostly require help within a given code section or script
or many members will provide guidance to better script or debug
Another word members and the WebmasterWorld do not provide scripts such as one size fits all.
however please do a search for "hotscripts" you should find there the scripts you are looking for

regards

Henry

The new vBulletin 3.x has has a paid subscriber system built in. You just turn it on for the forums you want. I haven't used it, but it looks like it will do a lot of the work for you.
