Hi,
I have pretty regular situation. It's about email software promotion, I've placed my ad at every single software directories and I do have traffic from hotscripts and couple others (actually hotscripts is the only one which gives me 3-4 unique clicks/day) But...what else? Now I'm not talking about imporoving a product perfomance on the site, it's about how else to promote my product at, let's say, hotscripts? They do provide a planty options to choose from and sure they don't name prices:-) Like, let's talk and we'll figure out how much we can take from you;-)

Anyway I have nothing aganst to spend some $$$ on promotion but how many of you were succeed at such promotion?

Thank you in advance for help.

We've spent a little change for specific directory services, including print promotion thru their catalog. The directory is very relevant to our business, and it has a pretty good reach. That doesn't exactly address the banner and email promotions, but I think if you can locate someone who will target your potential customers vs. a scattershot approach (banners?) your money might be better spent.

The real question I would have before spending another dime is this, "Is the target of <any particular campaign> going to be interested in my <any particular widget>?" If the answer is yes, try it out.

There are, of course, many great resources available over here [webmasterworld.com] and more over here [webmasterworld.com]
