awstats, how do Install

Hi,
I downloaded the .exe file for awstats onto my C:
I am going to be using this to grab reports off of my web page that sits on a windows server at purehost. I upload all of my pages thru cuteftp.
How in goodness sake do I set up, run and use this awstats? I have been trying to figure it out for 2 days now and feel extremely stupid. Does anyone know?

Hi,

So you download the .exe version and upload the exe file to your server? I never installed awstats in windows platform. I just download the exe version and it seems it will be installed in your local computer instead of extracting files.

I think you need to download the zip version, extract all files, modify paras according to manual and then upload it to your remote server.

You could use a program called vnc. I have not used it in while and I see that there is now two different programs Realvnc and Tightvnc. I guess either would work.

It's free and you can interact with your server in the same way as you interact with your computer at home.

However you would still have to install a program (vnc) on your server. So what I said earlier will not help you.
