I would just like to ask to those with experience on it, if having a seal of security improves your conversion rates, and to what extent it does improve your conversion.
Do people really feel more secure?

Testing I've conducted has shown an increase of nearly 2 points. This is with a sample of only 200 sites but it was enough evidence to allow me to convince clients to buy the cert.

I think so. Especially a nice big BetterBusinessBureau or Verisign seal makes me feel better.
