Thinking about allowing users their own section

to create their own site...

I was thinking of allowing my users the ability to create their own web pages, something like username.domain.com. This will allow more dedicated users as well as the ability to add my link on any site created. I will only allow related site content to screen out spammers, etc.

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice or what to look out for? What features are a must and what should be avoided?
