virus on server

I had used shared hosting before however due to good growth was forced to move to individual server. Everything is fine howeer i have not installed any Antivirus utility so far. The server is windows based could anyone please suggest a good AV preferably freeware or at least trial for a month (economical given preference). Please help ASAP as a online scan suggested as many as 13 pests on my server :(

If you have moved to your own server due to good growth, you need to pony up and get some AV software. We use Norton on all of our servers and it can be purchased for around $50. It has never failed us.

One of the biggest things about maintaining your own server is to keep the OS (WIN) and software up to date. This is free, and will save you MANY headaches.
