"Seamless" PayPal Integration

Keeping the visitor on your own site

I think I read here recently that PayPal no longer requires people to have a PayPal account to make payments. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any good information online on that subject, so I was hoping someone here has some experience to share.

I only have a few items for sale, not nearly enough to make it worthwhile to buy, install and maintain an online store script. That makes PayPal's "Buy Now" buttons an ideal option for us. However, I'd like the purchasing process to take place without the visitor ever leaving our site or needing to create a PayPal account. Is there any way to do that?

Thanks,

Matthew

good luck!

The visitor doesn't have to have a paypal account, but they do need to visit the PayPal site for the HTTPS processing.

You can redirect them after the purchase is approved to your site.

The free stuff from webassist just helps you create the buttons, which can you also do easily from PayPal.

Isn't it the case that the user can pay without a PayPal account only if you (the vendor) have a US bank account for PayPal to pay into? Or has this facility been extended?
