My client wants me to submit his website to as many search engines as possible. What software should I use? Any info would be appreciated.

The other thing is google problem. The website comes up in google listing but only if I search by the domain name. If I search by keywords, nothing. I would expect that if you put "my site is this" into the <TITLE> that this will be a priority and that my site will come before sites who doesn't have keywords (or whole string) in TITLE tag. But it doesn't work. Ok, I know there is no rule to be nr 1 but how can I put the site to be somewhere from 1-10th position. Any ideas?

I wouldn't touch submission software with a very large bargepole. Have you told your client that the vast majority of visits will come from Google, Yahoo and MSN?

As for using the title tag, that is only one consideration used for ranking. There are so many other factors involved.

The general consensus in WebmasterWorld is no one uses any submit software, you can do those submissions with that software maybe to lesser know SE's or directories that is from other countries. Other than that the biggies, they'll come for your site if you get it posted.

All the best, for ranking wise - read more WebmasterWorld & you'll get there.
