I'm building a site and the client wants a search tool for the site. someone recommended ht://Dig

I went to the site and it looks complicated. I see UNIX stuff there...any time I'm in a shell, I can't wait to get the hell out.

other solutions are appreciated.

php.net used to use htdig. They switched over to mnogo which can be compiled into php as an extension. That is where I would look if I needed to add search functionality to my site. No search is better than bad search in my opinion though.
