I was hoping I could get some suggestions on a script to use for creating online newsletters that will be archived and can be created through the browser.
As the developer, I want to create a template where only the content is editable by someone without html knowledge.
A plain text email will go out to a mailing list (separate script) that has the url of that week's newsletter. The format of the newsletter will stay basically the same, but new pages will need to be made weekly based on a sort of template.
One of my concerns is archiving past newsletters (not overwritten) and having the person be able to create a new newsletter from a sort of template, or past newsletter saved with a new name.
I don't think I need the typical news script that places a link (including a short summary or leadin) to a news article. I think I need the newsletter page to be able to have different subheadings and ability to add photos.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch for any suggestions that I can look into.
It's full featured and free or reasonably priced.
I've personally been using various releases of this for 3-4 years. I really like the bounce removal method that they use.
