3 pages in my website were promoting a service that is not available anymore. Each one of those pages has a Google PR3. Since I need to take them down, what can I do with them? Should I redirect them to my home page? There must be some way of using their PR, so please help me out.

Thank you!

The question is, is the PR 'inherited' from other pages on your site, or do these pages have links directly to them from other sites?

If the PR is acquired from your own site, just take them down and Google will redistribute among the remaining site pages.

If the PR is from external sources, get hold of those webmasters and have them change the links over to other pages on your site. If you don't think they'll do that (nothing else on site relevant to them), then I *think* just taking the pages down and putting in a permanent redirect will let Google transfer that PR to your redirect target.
