PHPLIVECHAT - Has anyone tried it?

I was really considering purchasing the PHPLIVECHAT client, but its $399.99 for the ownership of the software (otherwise, I woul dahve to pay the initial $156.99 for the script, then an additional $79.99 every year). Before making that type of investment, has anyone here tried them? For the last few months, I have yet been able to find a fully functional and reliable chat script that I can host on my server and not have to pay annual or monthly fees for.

Any ideas, comments, or suggestions?

I purchased PHPLive, and I don't like it. I would recommend www.boldchat.com
Bolchat is a free service for chatting with your visitors. You can upgrade to a boldchat payed account at any time.
