I'm gathering some seminar materials. When reworking the break-down of grouping percentages of the recent Media Metrix report, I was struck by the aging of the online population.
- Users under 18 are only 19.3% of US online population
- 35.5% are 18-34
- 35.2% are 35-54
- 45% are 35+
- 25.4% are 45+
- Approx 10% are 55+
- Over the last year (April vs April) the FASTEST GROWING age group was 55+
