For some odd reason, I am having trouble with my search form. I use Front Page to add this form...I never had problems before with it, not sure why it started now. Anyone have any ideas? Does it have to do anything with the server?

Thanks for your input!

what sort of problems? can you be a bit more specific? maybe provide an error message if you are getting one.

If your search form uses any sort of Front Page wizard/scripting, then you need to be sure your server has Front Page extensions.

could you please provide us with the exact HTML code of the form that is currently not working? It'd be much easier to help.

I am actually having a problem with two of my sites. One site says "there is no catalog" when you enter something in the search box. The other site currently says page can not be found when you type something in. I have been messing with that page on that site so the message may have been different before...I cant rememeber what it said. I never had any problems before with any search forms.....

Thank you everyone for your help!

I believe this is all the code the form:

<!--webbot bot="Search" S-Index="All" S-Fields S-Text="Search for:"
I-Size="20" S-Submit="Start Search" S-Clear="Reset"
S-TimestampFormat="%m/%d/%Y" TAG="BODY" startspan b-useindexserver="1" --><form action="_vti_script/search.htm0.idq" method="POST"><p><b>Search for: </b><input type="text" name="UserRestriction" size="20" value></p><p><input type="submit" value="Start Search"><input type="reset" value="Reset"></p></form><!--webbot bot="Search" endspan i-checksum="7157" -->

My host did not have the indexing service enabled. They seem to think that this will fix the problem. Unfortunately, I am still having problems with the other site. When I submit search on that site..it reads "page cannot be displayed"

Thanks All
