Should I change my cookies settings?

Hi everyone,
For some reason my computer does not remember any of my user names for any password protected sites. I have XP Home Edition and set all settings to default. I assumed the default setting would chage the cookie setting to the one I want. On every other computer I work on, when I begin to type the first letters in the user name (for Example) it remembers the rest. What should I change and how?

Under IE the settings you're looking for live under Tools > Content > Auto-complete.

I tried that...it seems like that would do it but it still doesn't work. When I hit content, then auto complete, then I check marked the three boxes. Any other ideas?
