Unfortunately my computer tech couldn't get rid of incredifind no matter what--it wouldn't allow us to download any program on the internet and even when he used his spybot program-the program couldn't find it and get rid of it--now I am having the whole hard drive cleaned and put my date files back on--I noticed today on another computer using internet explorer that findcom tried to attach to one of the websites I was trying to view--what is with internet explorer? Do most of you use netscape instead or does this problem of adding spyware happen on all browsers?

You need to find yourself a new computer tech, anytime somebody tells you removing something like this isn't possible and that you have to reinstalll your OS they are basically telling you they don't know what they are doing.

I can't vouch for how well these products work, but I can tell you that a tech who isn't able to remove something like this is not worth paying.

I must tell you that I have never been happy with IE. I always have one problem or an other with it. But, that's just me. I use Netscape, and I never have any problems. I have both browsers on my computer and while IE will give me problems, switch to Netscape and there are no problems. This is just my experience. An other spy ware you can try is from lavasoft. It's called ad aware. I've been using it for a little while now and I have been happy with it. And best of all it's a free download.
