Anyone ever found a good way of automatically detecting the quick lefthand flurry when receiving form data :

sfdsdfsf
asdasdas
sdfsdfsdfsd
asdasd
adsfasfa

you know the sort of thing

I just open the db and delete it. I don't think you can automate something like that.

How about this. Validate it and see if it is a valid email address. If not, make the user enter a valid email address. Apply this rule to all input fields, whether they ask for e-mail addresses or not. I suppose Jakob Nielsen will get up on his high horse and say this has poor usability, but what does he know?

My apologies for the spam post. Just feeling a bit whimsical today.
