I have 5 presell pages with no links except one and that is to the equipment links page. Some of these pages have as much as 30 links out.

Is it better to use a meta nofollow or would the SEs see this as a "black hole" and that would probably be worse.
Or the third option would be to just send them to the site where they can look up the items they want themselves?

Thanks

Well one of the things I am learning here is that, you need to think like your visitor, especially when search engines are considered.

If they search for a term and find your site, when they visit they should land on a page that relates to that term. Especially if sales are involved make it easy for the visitor.

So if the SE term is 'potato' and you are a fruit & vegetable shop, then you want that termed linked to your potato page, or at worst your vegetable page. You don't really want them landing on your 'fruit' page, or your 'history' page.

As to the technicalities of how the SE's view number of links in or out, I will leave that to others.
