You may have been hit hard by the search engine bots. Thats good news. How old is your site anyway? Have you checked your log files? It may also be possible that your site may have been accessed by offline browsers like teleport, etc.

It really depends on what your site is about. If you cover a very speciallist topic and have a small number of pages, then hits will be low and so will bandwidth. But if you have a large site on a popular topic then you will get loads of hits.

As for how many hits page Gb. That depends too. If you have large pages and graphics then you'll burn more bandwidth than small pages and graphics for the same number of hits.

well it looks like google has found you. that is usually a good thing, people will find your forum doing searches for keywords that are in your forum posts.

sell em something while they are there.

sajjid- it's hard to feel sympathy, since I would gladly pay an extra $3 in bandwidth charges if Google were to pummel my server like that!

My problem with Google was that it was indexing the same pages multiple times: domain.com, www.domain.com; /page, /page?currency=CAD, /page?currency=USD. Each page was there 6 times! It might be worth checking the logs for this.

On another note, Google regularly sucks up bandwidth for some of the sites I visit. Frequent updates, new material and links make it look important and useful- and when you reach a certain critical mass, with people linking to you and certain information pages being the most authoritative- this is likely only a prelude to you getting even more traffic.

Check to see if you are starting to get more referrals for some keywords, and your SERP rankings. If so, I would change my hosting plan ASAP to allow for more bandwidth :)

Thanks yes i have researched since this post and found out its because i joined adsense last week as i pointed out before i had visits from googlebot every third to fifth day then deep crawl once a month but since adding adsense google bot does not want to leave my site referring site same as before i get around 70% from google my Unique visitors this month lowest 1858 and highest 3314 per day looks same as any other month normally sunday is the busy.
also thanks for tip on changing my host but i think i should be ok because i have my own dedicated server
