Can I add a poll or survey to an HTML email?

I use Javascript on an ASP page to put a poll on our Web site.

Can I use that same code in the body of an email that will sent to customers?

I want the survey in the email instead of a link to the survey on our site.

If not, what options do I have to include a poll in my email?

Thanks,
Justin

with the widespread use of spam killer and antivirus software I'd say that inlucding a poll in an email will be a very frustrating experience for you. You will find that the vast majority of the emails will have the script disabled by protection software. You may also find yourself winding up on some spam lists if people don't realize what you are trying to do.

Welcome to Webmaster World, hoffj.

What is wrong with including a link in your eamils? Is it flagged with blurb saying how you'd appreciate it if....?

If people aren't responding to a well-flagged link, I doubt they'll return a direct poll - even if their anti-virus software lets it through.
