Ms Outlook simply doesn't let me to type the email address into the "to" or "cc". Well actually it lets me type letters but it wouldn't let me type "@". No problems with Outlook Express though. I'm wondering if it expects me to use the address book for email addresses?

If you mean could this be the default behavior for Outlook, no, it is not normal. What version are you using?

try going to About/Detect and Repair. may just be a bug your outlook picked up.

Kind of sorted it out, had to change the office language and regional settings, got the "@" working but now it doesn't support some of the letters (ö,ä,õ,ü). In case you are wondering why someone needs to use such weird letters the answer is simple - i'm estonian from Estonia and we have those weirdos in our alphabet.
Guess i have to reinstall Office, hope that'll sort everything out :)
