I want to setup a simple "autoresponder" or automatic reply so that whenever someone sends an email to support@me.com they get an email back right away saying "we have received your message blah blah blah." I have my own dedicated server, and am using sendmail for email. But I'm just learning this "stuff" and have no idea how to go about doing this. I saw a relatively simple program or script somewhere that does this type of thing but now I can't find it. Can anyone recommend something or point me in the right direction? The one I saw also had a few neat features such as it would not send the person more than 1 of the auto emails if they emailed you 2 or more times in a certain time period, etc. etc.

You can also instead of an email have users in need of support filling a short form
then when sent the form triggers a thanks message
