Whether the company you've engaged is on the up and up or whether you're simply painting a nice bright target on yourself via the surveys of the prospective surveyors, I don't have a clue. But I'm feeling frisky today, and if I were to lay a bet, I'd be betting on the latter.
I have given up trying to make money on Google adwords. So now I registered with 29 survey sites. (It cost $35 for the list! )
No list of survey sites is worth that much, you could probably have found them all yourself using search engines. As for the sites themselves, it's a good idea to check some of the consumer review sites, they will usually have several reports about paid-for surveying. This should give you an idea of which ones are likely to pay up and send you regular surveys, and which are probably scams.
This is not an endorsement of this company, just an honest example, I would be very leary of any survey company frankly. I think I just got lucky.
