Norton error after failed setup

I've quit the installation process og norto antivirus whie running new installation of a laptop. Now when i try to reinstall it, I cant with an error message saying - Installation ended prematurely because of an error.

So how do I get it installed again.

Think this is quite a common problem with NAV when you have an older version installed prior. You can go to the following URL to download RNAV2003.EXE for an automated removal of traces of previous installation in your system.

Dont know why, tried deleting the registry keys for symanted but still didnt work.
Installed AVG instead :)
