Hello Everyone

Can someone please tell me if changing servers can affect search engine ranking?

I ask this question because I was advised to change servers to obtain my own unique IP static page address.

I changed over about 7 days ago and now it appears the search engines are having trouble locating my website.

Since changing over to own unique ip address I have been receiving less and less traffic and as a result low very low sales. Very unusual for this time of year.

Can someone tell me is this a temp thing until the likes of google and other top search engines run another crawl? Or did I mess things up?

Please advise, I am very worried.

Thanks!

DNS caching. The spiders are/were still looking at the old address for your pages. They should pick back up on it.
